Solar City has flown past SunPower to claim the record for the world’s most efficient rooftop solar panel with a module efficiency over 22 percent . In addition, that solar panel will be manufactured at their solar giga factory in Buffalo, New York.

Solar City is already America’s number one solar provider and now they have two powerful engines to drive growth: strong sales driving market share up (via the lease and other great financing tools) AND their own manufacturing (via the solar giga factory)that can now produce the most efficient panels in the world, right here in the U.S.

I would expect , once the solar giga factory is fully operational, this will increase sales/revenue and hence we will see their stock price rise.
